THE LIRA CORPORATE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP RACE: FOUR OUTINGS, ONE TROPHY

The 2026 Lira Corporate League championship has reached the business end of the season, and the statistics suggest that nothing is settled yet. With the August, September, October and November outings remaining before the Annual Awards Dinner in December, every team still has an opportunity to influence the final championship picture.

As of 12 August 2026, 18 corporate teams are ranked in the overall championship. UG Prison Farm Erute lead with 137 points, followed by Ridah Makeup Studio on 128 and Super Select Corporates on 119. Adwarians are fourth on 108, Legends fifth on 107 and NBL sixth on 104. That means only 33 points separate first from sixth, while the gap between first and second is just nine points.

FOOTBALL: RIDAH SET THE PACE

Football remains one of the biggest battlegrounds. Ridah have 51 points from 22 matches, winning 15, drawing six and losing only once. They have scored 41 goals, conceded just 7 and boast a remarkable +34 goal difference. Prison Farm are second with 45 points, 31 goals scored and 12 conceded. Legends have 44 points, while Super Select, Downtown and Doctorians are all on 41.

The football numbers show Ridah's consistency, but the overall championship rewards teams that perform across several disciplines.

MULTI-SPORT BATTLE

In Deca Shoot, Palmerias and Doctorians lead with 24 points each, followed by Prison Farm on 23 and Ridah on 21. Legends and Super Select have 20 each.

In 3x3 Ladies, Adwarians, Prison Farm and Super Select are tied at the top with 10 points each, while NBL, Legends and Ridah are on eight.

The 100m sprint has Prison Farm leading on 16 points, followed by Super Select on 15 and Legends on 13.

Meanwhile, Ludo is extremely competitive: Ridah and Tazzelles Sports Hub are both on 30 points, with Adwarians on 28, Lira City Council on 26 and Prison Farm on 25.

Pool also remains important. Doctorians and Prison Farm are unbeaten in Group A with six wins from six, while City Boys Legends are perfect in Group B with six wins from six.

The statistics make one thing clear: the championship will not be won by football alone. Teams must deliver across every activity, manage pressure and convert opportunities into points.

Four outings remain. Four chances to change the table. Nine points separate the top two. Thirty-three points separate the top six.
