GAZELLES SPORTS ACADEMY OPEN PARK EXPERIENCEAT MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK.

Some lessons cannot be taught on a pitch. They have to be felt. This week, our young Gazelles stepped off the training ground in Lira City and into Uganda’s wild north Murchison Falls National Park for an open park experience that will stay with them long after the boots come off.

We stood at the top of the falls and watched the entire Nile squeeze through a gap no wider than a goalmouth, then drop with a roar you feel in your chest. That kind of power teaches respect. It reminds a young athlete that strength is not noise, it is focus, discipline, and purpose.

On the game drives across the northern savannah, the children learned patience. Lions do not appear on command. Giraffes, buffalo, elephants, and Uganda kobs move on their own time. You wait. You watch. You stay ready. That is the same mindset we ask of them in training and in life.

Then came the boat cruise on the Victoria Nile hippos close enough to hear, crocodiles on the banks, birds working the water, and the falls rising ahead in mist and thunder. From the river you see how everything is connected land, water, wildlife and the people who protect it.

This was never just a trip. It was formation. Education beyond the classroom. A reminder that our academy does not only build players . we raise young people who know their country, honour its heritage and carry themselves with humility and courage.

To every parent, coach, partner, and friend who made this possible thank you. To our Gazelles take this home (Train harder. Dream bigger. Protect what you have seen.)
